Lactose intolerant ice cream lovers should give their freezers a look through following this nationwide recall.
Nestlé Canada Inc. is recalling their Drumstick Vanilla Chocolate Swirl Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert Cones as they may contain milk not declared on the label. The cones have been distributed across the country and one person is reported to have had a reaction from the product according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).
The CFIA recommends that you check to see if you have the recalled product in your home. If you do, the cones should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased.
The CFIA is conducting a food safety investigation which may lead to other products being recalled.
