Sunshine Coasters will get only glimpses of sun in the comings days.

The day should be rain-free on the lower Sunshine Coast on May 14, but clouds are forecast to sneak into our skies according to Environment Canada's seven day online weather outlook. Today will have some wind with breezes coming in from the west at 20 km/h. Those are slated to become light this evening but to return on Thursday.

Both that weather authority and Weatherhood are calling for daytime high temperature of 16 degrees C locally. But a cooling trend is said to be on its way, with the mercury anticipated to only reach 11 or 12 degrees tomorrow and Friday. Things are slated to warm up to the 15 to 16 degree mark by the weekend.

Rain is showing up on both sets of forecasts as of tomorrow and through the start of the Victoria Day long weekend. The calls are for a partially sunny day on Sunday, but for the rains to return by Monday.
