A rebound in temperatures is forecast to reach the lower Sunshine Coast today by Weatherhood. By early afternoon, the Sechelt area is anticipated to reach 19 or 20  degrees C. If achieved, those readings will exceed Environment Canada's average day time high for May 1 of 16 degrees.

Weatherhood says a small amount of rain is to come our way on Friday and Saturday, with accumulations on both days in the 2 to 3 millimetre range.

Both weather authorities are calling for a slight cooling trend, with daytime highs down at 13 or 14 degrees for Saturday, Don't dispair; drier conditions, with mercury readings in the high teens and low 20's are slated for the beginning of next week.
