Horse trainer uses natural holistic approach

Creating a positive balance of trust and respect, breaking down prey/predator relationships and building up a language of communication leads into the training provided by Parelli Natural Horsemanship instructors.

Glenn Stewart is one of the highest rated Parelli professionals. He studied with Parelli founders and has over 25 years’ experience in the horse industry teaching thousands of students across North and South America. In 2010, Stewart won the Calgary Stampede Extreme Cowboy competition.

Stewart travels extensively conducting clinics, demonstrations, colt starting sessions, and offers camps and horsemanship courses at his ranch near Fort St. John, BC. On Saturday March 12 and Sunday March 13, Stewart will be presenting a Stage One Natural Horsemanship Clinic at Chaster Creek Stables in Gibsons.

Stage one forms a solid foundation between horse and rider. The training uses intangibles such as understanding and psychology to build a strong relationship.

Natural horsemanship provides an opportunity for people to go beyond riding and learn about themselves as well as their horse.

For registration or spectator information readers can contact Christine Mutch 604.886.2367. Enrolment is limited and although spectators are encouraged, there is a fee to audit. For more information on Stewart readers can visit his website.
