Powell River Chamber of Commerce president Telis Savvaidis.

On behalf of the Powell River Chamber of Commerce board of directors, I’d like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a happy, healthy and safe holiday season.

2021 has been another year of challenges and obstacles to overcome, however, we have persevered and adapted as needed whether in our business or personal lives.

We have pulled together at every turn. We have weathered the COVID-19 storm that continues to play havoc with our everyday dealings.

We are a supportive community. We can reach out and there is always an organization that will listen and assist us.

I hope our office has been in some way a help to you, your business or someone you know. We are here to serve you, the business community.

I’ll end by asking you to be a comfort to someone in need, and keep in touch with your family and friends.

We hope that in 2022 the labour shortage and other new challenges will be overcome.

As more things begin to open in 2022, let’s continue to work together as the resilient business community we have always been.

Bless you all and may better days be soon upon us.
