City council approved the appointment of officers at its June 1 city council meeting.
Council voted unanimously to appoint Tom Day as interim chief administrative officer.
Appointing and establishing the order in which deputy chief administrative officers perform their duties in the absence of the CAO was also approved. Corporate officer Chris Jackson would be first in the order of ascendancy, followed by chief financial officer Mallory Denniston.
Council also appointed manager of financial services Ryan Youngman as deputy chief financial officer.
