BC Ferries has announced cancellations of three round-trip Malaspina Sky sailings in September.

According to a media release from BC Ferries, customers are advised that the first two sailings will be cancelled for a Transport Canada-required survey and maintenance of the propulsion machinery onboard the ferry.

The first cancellations are the 9 pm ferry departing Saltery Bay and the 10 pm sailing from Earls Cove on September 12. The second sailings to be cancelled are the 7:30 am sailing departing Saltery Bay and the 8:25 am sailing departing Earls Cove on September 13.

Customers are advised that Malaspina Sky sailings at 9 pm departing Saltery Bay and 10 pm departing Earls Cove have been cancelled on September 19 to allow for Transport Canada-required drills and a safety equipment survey to be completed.

BC Ferries, in the media release, stated apologies for any inconvenience experienced as a result of these sailing cancellations.
