Questionnaire is available online

British Columbians have more time to share their input for a vision of coastal ferry services, as the public consultation period has been extended to 4 pm on Friday, April 17, 2020.

According to a media release from the BC government, this public consultation was launched in February. Due to the ongoing situation with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), in-person meetings in coastal communities have been cancelled. The extension of the survey will provide time for MLAs to connect with their constituents and local stakeholders, and provide a longer time frame for the public to provide feedback, the release stated.

The results will inform the development of a province-wide vision to guide the future of British Columbia’s coastal ferry service.

The questionnaire is available on the coastal ferries vision webpage.
