BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) reported zero COVID-19 cases in the Powell River local health area from July 11 to 17.
The previous four reporting periods (July 4 to 10; June 27 to July 3; June 20 to 26; and June 13 to 19) also resulted in no coronavirus cases.
The last case in the area was reported between June 6 and 12.
The cumulative total of positive COVID-19 cases for the local health area from January 2020 through June 2021 is 95, according to BCCDC.
