7100 block of Kemano Street
An outboard motor, 12 horsepower Johnson, was stolen off a parked boat. A few tools were taken as well.

McLean Road
A vehicle was severely vandalized while parked at the Black Point Auto Wreckers. The 2008 Ford Focus had its windshield smashed, seats slashed and every panel damaged. Damage is estimated at approximately $15,000.
August 1
Lund
At approximately 8 pm, Powell River RCPM officers responded a report of four naked males running around a campground. When police arrived on scene the males had already departed. A description of the vehicle the males were in was obtained and the vehicle was later located on Hwy 101. The male driver from Switzerland displayed signs of alcohol impairment. He was given a roadside breath test which he failed. He was issued a 90-day immediate roadside prohibition and the van he had rented was impounded for 30 days.
