1. April 11

4300 block Padgett Road

At approximately 4 pm police received a call from a business owner near location reporting that a blue, early 1980s model van had been driven down the pole line where the driver had then thrown out an old bed mattress. The complainant advised there was a male and female in the van. Patrols were made with negative results. The identity of the individuals is yet to be determined.

2. April 12

7000 block Glacier Street

Police received a report of a moving trailer parked at location which had been spray-painted with graffiti sometime over the last few days. Patrols were made and photographs of the graffiti obtained. There will be an extensive cost involved to repair damage. No suspects or witnesses have been identified.

3. April 16

4400 block Marine Avenue

At 2 am police attended to location with ambulance regarding a report of an unresponsive male. While paramedics were attempting to treat this person a 23-year-old male from Powell River continued to get in the way. The 23-year-old was readily observed to be intoxicated and would not leave the area. He was arrested and lodged in cells to sober.

4. April 16

4300 block Franklin Avenue

Police received a report that sometime overnight culprits broke the front window to a business at location using a metal bike rack. The suspects then stole a red Puma advertising sign from inside the premises. There are no suspects or witnesses at this time. Damage to the building is estimated to be $400. The investigation is ongoing.
