Haywire Bay
Police responded to a report of an impaired driver leaving the area. The vehicle was located by police a short time later. Police spoke with the 28-year-old male driver and noticed signs of impairment. The driver provided a breath sample which resulted in a three-day driving prohibition under the Motor Vehicle Act.
2. August 5
Goat Lake Road
Police received a report of a break-in to a vehicle. During the night of August 4, the lockbox in the bed of a grey Ford pickup truck was broken into and a drill and batteries were taken from inside. The drill is described as a cordless DeWALT drill valued at approximately $370.
