4500 block Marine Avenue
Police responded to a robbery at a business. A male allegedly entered the business, stole an item valued at $1,500 and ran out. When the manager of the shop tried to stop him, the suspect punched him in the face. Police attended and located the suspect shortly after. He has been charged with assault and theft. He appeared in court this week.
2. December 8
4800 block Marine Avenue
Police stopped a vehicle while conducting a check stop. The 25-year-old male driving the vehicle showed signs of impairment. A breath sample was taken which registered a “fail.” The male was issued a 90-day driving prohibition under the Motor Vehicle Act.
