1. February 8
5700 block Lombardy Avenue
At 11:44 am police responded to a collision. A vehicle driven by a 47-year-old female slid off the road, due to icy conditions, and over an embankment. The driver of the vehicle was not injured during the incident.
2. February 9
4400 block Michigan Avenue
At 9:04 pm police responded to a theft complaint. A grey Toyota Prius was broken into and an Asus laptop was taken. This occurred between 6:30 and 8:30 pm the same day. 3. February 10
6200 block Lund Street
At 4:34 pm police responded to a complaint of an impaired driver. The vehicle was located in the area, being driven by a 58-year-old male. The driver showed signs of impairment, so a breath sample was obtained which registered a “warn.” The driver was issued a 3-day driving prohibition under the Motor Vehicle Act.
