1. July 2
2800 block McCausland Road
A full set of golf clubs were stolen from the back of a pickup truck while parked in a recreation parking lot. The clubs were a variety of makes/models in a black golf bag which had the initials KJS written on it.
2. July 7 to 14
Savary Island Wharf
Within the past week there were two acts of mischief to the wharf. In one incident the dock fire extinguisher had been discharged and the glass window to the Shelter was smashed. In the second incident all the posters were ripped off the bulletin board and broken glass was left on the dock and gang plank to the lower wharf. Also someone had left fecal matter in the sheltered area.
3. July 8
4800 block Joyce Avenue
At approximately 6 am a male was arrested for stealing a geranium plant from outside a local store. The accused was known to police and is facing the Criminal Code charge of Theft Under $5,000.
4. July 11
Emil Road, Lund
A locking gas cap was reported missing from a vehicle while it was parked. The suspect(s) were likely attempting to siphon fuel but as the fuel tank was almost empty no fuel was taken.
