1. June 20
Highway 101
Police stopped a vehicle heading southbound after it was seen being driven erratically. Police spoke with the 40-year-old male driver who showed signs of impairment. After providing a breath sample, which registered a “fail,” the driver was issued a 90-day driving prohibition under the Motor Vehicle Act.
2. June 21
6100 block Lund Street
Police responded to a vehicle collision. A van travelling north left the roadway, went over an embankment and through a fence. The 71-year-old male driving the van sustained minor injuries as a result of the accident.
3. June 22
4500 block Marine Avenue
Police responded to a report of a break and enter at a restaurant. Sometime between 11 pm and 9 am the previous night, someone had smashed the front door with a sandwich board sign and entered. Fifteen pounds of cooked chicken was taken from a fridge inside.
