1. October 25
4400 block Marine Avenue
Just after 6 pm, police received a report of a man passed out in his vehicle in the parking lot of a business. Police attended and located the man sleeping in the driver’s seat with a can of beer in his lap. He was woken up by police and arrested for impaired driving. The 43-year-old male is facing charges of impaired operation of a motor vehicle and will appear in court on December 7.
2. October 28
5700 block Willow Avenue
Police responded to a report of a break and enter. Sometime during the previous night, between midnight and 8 am, someone entered the house and stole two wallets from inside. One wallet contained $350 and the other had $60. Both also contained identification. 4300 block Michigan Avenue
Police responded to a mischief complaint at an educational institution. Sometime during the weekend a window was smashed and a door knob broken. The damage is estimated to be around $300.
