1. September 27
7500 block Nootka Street
Police responded to a report of a break and enter. A silver Toshiba laptop computer, valued at approximately $350, was taken from the residence sometime between 8 am and 6 pm that day. 2. September 28
6800 block Courtenay Street
Police responded to a collision. A utility trailer came unhitched while it was being backed into a driveway. The trailer rolled down Courtenay Street and struck another vehicle that was stopped, ripping a hole in the driver’s side door. A male was injured as he attempted to stop the trailer from rolling and was taken to Powell River General Hospital, but released after being examined.
3. October 2
6800 block Cranberry Street
Police responded to a complaint of mischief. Sometime between 4 and 7 am a pellet was shot through the window of a residence. No one was injured, but the window had to be replaced.
