BC Ferries has provided an update and advised that Malaspina Sky will resume sailing with a 6 pm departure from Saltery Bay.

Adverse weather has affected the Saltery Bay (Powell River) - Earls Cove BC Ferries route.
According to an announcement from BC Ferries, Malaspina Sky is currently holding in dock at Saltery Bay Ferry Terminal due to a fallen tree, which is blocking crew and customer access to the terminal.
BC Hydro is en route to assess the problem.
