Ferries serving two Powell River routes returned to their regular schedules on Tuesday, September 1.
Salish Eagle covered several sailings on the Powell River/Texada Island route on August 31 while also transporting vehicles and passengers from Westview Terminal to Comox due to a mechanical issue with Island Discovery, the regular ferry for service between Westview and Blubber Bay.
BC Ferries announced that Island Discovery was fit for regular duty late in the evening on August 31.
