Michael Wall is the new manager of community services for Powell River Regional District.
Wall has been living on Savary Island where he is the owner and builder of Savary Island Resort. He has operated his own technical consulting business for over 20 years.
His broad experience in all areas of community service including parks, recreation, fire protection, water, solid waste and transportation will be brought into the position. As well, Wall possesses domestic and international experience managing complex multi-level projects.
“We are pleased to welcome Mike to the regional district,” said Al Radke, chief administrative officer, in a press release. “He comes to us with extensive experience, and I am confident he will embrace the challenge of the position and move the regional district forward on many projects vital to our community.”
Wall commences his duties on Monday, January 27.
