Tla'amin Nation held an opening ceremony for the new Ɂəms ʔayɛ (Our House) Cultural Centre on June 21, 2025. The ceremony coincided with National Indigenous Peoples Day.
Tla’amin elder Elsie Paul cut the ribbon to officially open the building, which has a feast hall, language lab, museum, traditional food processing facility, gardens, a smokehouse and a carving shed.
Photographer Andrew Bradley also made a video recording of a portion of the festivities.
