Tuesday, May 1; Joyce Avenue, 5000 block
Powell River RCMP received a report of theft of a Canon digital camera from an unlocked GMC Sierra pickup parked at Powell River General Hospital. The theft occurred between 9 and 10 am. The camera can be identified by its serial number: 312064000551.
Wednesday, May 2; Cumberland Place, 4400 block
Powell River RCMP received a report of theft of a number of items, including chair cushions, ashtrays, two exterior power cords and five to six bags of concrete ready-mix. The theft occurred sometime between May 1 and 2.
Wednesday, May 2; Chilco Avenue, 6300 block
Powell River RCMP received a report of theft of three bags of manure. The crime occurred sometime between April 28 and May 2.
Thursday, May 3; Joyce Avenue, 4400 block
Powell River RCMP received a report of a break and enter that occurred at a business the previous night. Upon investigation, it was learned that a red cash box was missing. It had approximately $60 dollars in it, which was for a local charity.
Sunday, May 6; Kristensen Road, 9200 block
Powell River RCMP received a report of mischief to vehicle that occurred the previous night. Upon investigation, a Jeep Grand Cherokee had its passenger-side window smashed out. It was the second time in as many weeks that the window had been smashed.
