July 20; Arbutus Avenue
At approximately 11:32 pm, police were conducting a roadblock and stopped a vehicle being driven by a 46-year-old female. The driver displayed signs of impairment and admitted to consuming liquor. A breath sample was obtained, which registered a fail on the approved screening device. The female was issued a 90-day driving prohibition and the vehicle was impounded for 30 days under the Motor Vehicle Act.

July 21; Padgett Road, 4300 block
At approximately 9:33 am, police responded to a report of a break and enter. Sometime between 1:30 pm on July 20 and 9 am on July 21, a sliding glass door was pried open and entry was gained into a detached garage. It is unknown if anything was stolen from inside the garage at this time.

July 21; Joyce Avenue, 4700 block
At approximately 11:52 am, police responded to a report of a stolen iPhone at a business. Police reviewed surveillance video, which led to the identification of a suspect in the theft. The male suspect was located and arrested on July 22, and was found to be in possession of break-in tools when arrested. The 30-year-old male is facing charges of theft under $5,000 and possession of break-in instruments. He has been remanded in custody and will appear in court by video on July 30.
