July 17; Joyce Avenue, 4700 block
At approximately 9:55 am, police responded to a report of a break and enter at RONA. A male was seen on surveillance video climbing over a fence and stealing a lawn mower during the previous night. The male was identified from the video and arrested on July 18. The 34-year-old is facing charges of break and enter and will be appearing in court in October.

July 20; Highway 101, south
At approximately 7:39 am, police responded to a break and enter at Nelson Roofing. Sometime between midnight and 3 am on July 18, one or more people entered the compound and stole a ladder. The suspect(s) then went to Two-Wheel Tech (next door) and stole an aluminum boat and trailer valued at approximately $4,300.

July 21; Joyce Avenue, block
At approximately 12:10 am, police were patrolling and observed a vehicle driving erratically. Police conducted a traffic stop and spoke to the driver, a 41-year-old female from Powell River. She had an odour of liquor and exhibited other signs of impairment. Police obtained a breath sample, which registered a “warn” on the approved screening device. The female was issued a three-day driving prohibition under the Motor Vehicle Act.
