August 17; Marine Avenue, 4400 block
At approximately 9:44 pm, police responded to a mischief complaint. A blue Chevy car parked at that location had two of its four tires slashed. This occurred sometime between 4 and 9 pm while the owner was at work.

August 18; Marine Avenue, 4700 block
At approximately 1:40 pm, police responded to a report of a possible impaired driver. Police located the vehicle and stopped it near Westview Ferry Terminal. The 59-year-old female driver showed signs of impairment so a field sobriety test was conducted. The female performed poorly on the test, so a demand was read for a drug recognition examination. The driver refused the examination and, as a result, was issued an immediate 90-day driving prohibition.
