October 4; Marine Avenue
At approximately 8:50 am, police responded to a request for assistance from Powell River Fire Rescue, who were attending a single vehicle rollover collision on Marine Avenue. Police attended and spoke to the driver of the vehicle, a 45-year-old Powell River man, who showed signs of impairment. As a result of the investigation, the male was issued a 24-hour driving prohibition and police will be forwarding impaired driving charges.

October 5; North Harbour
At approximately 11:35 am, police responded to a theft of a boat from Dock A at the Powell River North Harbour. Sometime between October 4 at 4:30 pm and October 5 at 10 am, someone cut two locks securing the boat to the dock and stole the boat, which is described as a 12-foot Pipan Rigid inflatable with a 20-horsepower Suzuki outboard.

October 6; Joyce Avenue
At approximately 3:35 pm, police were making patrols on Joyce Avenue near Lytton Street when they located a vehicle being driven by a known prohibited driver. Police stopped the vehicle and confirmed the identity of the driver, a 30 year-old Powell River male. He was arrested for prohibited driving and his vehicle was impounded for seven days. The male was released on scene, and will appear in court in December.
