He was issued a violation ticket for failing to wear a mask as well as a ticket for abusive behaviour. Each offence comes with a $230 fine. This was the second evening in a row this individual tried to enter the store without a mask.

As reported last week, RCMP have continued to see an increase in the number of drug and alcohol impaired driving investigations. Over the course of the week, three more individuals had their licences suspended for 90 days and their vehicles impounded for 30 days, and one individual is being investigated for drug impaired driving as a result of smoking marijuana and then driving. Losing your licence for 90 days is only the beginning; drivers can also face a mandatory rehabilitation program ($930), installation of an ignition interlock system at their cost and driver risk premiums that can be thousands of dollars. Please plan ahead to ensure you get home safe.
