November 4; Hammond Street, 6800 block
At approximately 12:02 pm, RCMP responded to a break and enter at a construction site in the 6800 block of Hammond Street. Police spoke to a witness who advised that sometime between 5 pm on October 29 and 8 am on October 31, someone entered the site and stole a Dewalt drywall router and Dewalt drywall screw gun valued at approximately $600.

November 6; Marine Avenue
At approximately 8:23 pm, police were conducting patrols on Marine Avenue and observed a vehicle travelling southbound at a high rate of speed. Police stopped the vehicle and identified the driver, a 76-year-old male from Powell River. While speaking to the driver, police observed signs of impairment and a breath demand was made. The driver provided a breath sample, which registered a fail on the approved screening device (ASD). The driver was given an opportunity to provide a second breath sample on a different ASD, which also registered a fail. As a result, the driver was issued a 90-day driving prohibition under provisions of the Motor Vehicle Act and his vehicle was impounded for 30 days.

November 7; Wharf Street, 6700 block
At approximately 12:59 pm, RCMP responded to a mischief report at the Westview south harbour. Sometime during the previous month, someone entered a vessel moored at that location by kicking in a cabin door. The cabin was then entered, and the contents of the vessel were rummaged through. Although nothing was stolen from inside, the vessel sustained minor damage when it was entered.
