qathet Regional District has received its 2021 community excellence award in asset management for its natural asset solution to stormwater runoff at the resource-recovery centre.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 Union of BC Municipalities (UBCM) convention and community excellence awards ceremony were held virtually with no award photo opportunities available.

Once the physical award was received, staff and directors took the opportunity to commemorate this achievement. For more information on the award and the resource-recovery centre project, go to qathet.ca.
