qathet Regional District is interested in applying for a Powell River Community Forest grant to improve access at Palm Beach Regional Park.
At a meeting on September 20, finance committee recommended the regional board apply for the grant, and that the board direct staff to add the project to the 2022-2023 work plan if the grant is successful.
According to a staff report, the grant funding request would be for $20,000 and would improve access to the regional park for all users.
The project has been identified as trail improvement.
