BC’s government will use the brand name, BC Cannabis Stores, to sell non-medical cannabis in stores and online.
BC Liquor Distribution Branch announced on Thursday, April 26, that the name and brand will be featured on store signage and printed materials.
BC Cannabis Stores will be a new, separate business operation.
The first government-operated retail store and online sales to the public are expected to open by the end of the summer, when pot sales become legalized in Canada.
