Energy strategy
City of Powell River council has voted to endorse the Vision for a New Energy Future as proposed by Tides Canada.
The document makes recommendations for a national energy strategy that accelerates the transition to a prosperous, healthy and secure low-carbon future. The motion that council passed in November cites the Sustainability Charter for the Powell River Region, which the city has adopted.
