Powell River Pee Wee Reps hosted game one of the Vancouver Island Amateur Hockey Association Tier 3 final on Saturday, February 22, losing 10-1 to a powerhouse team from Kerry Park.

Liam Neath scored the lone goal for Powell River, tying the score at one in the first period. The visitors scored twice more before the first intermission and added three second-period goals to take a 6-1 lead after 40 minutes.

Powell River hit the crossbar three times in the game but were unable to add another goal. Kerry Park scored four more goals in the third period.

Game two of the best-of-three series takes place in Kerry Park on Saturday, February 29, with game three, if necessary, scheduled for Sunday, March 1, also hosted by the Vancouver Island-based team.
