Carmine Buono and Carter Turnbull set up Ben Berard's 10th goal of the playoffs to give Powell River Kings a 3-2 double-overtime win in game three of their best-of-seven BC Hockey League semi-final series versus Prince George Spruce Kings on Monday, April 2.

Neal Samanski and Kevin Obbsuth scored first period goals for Powell River. Prince George tied the game with goals in the second and third periods to send the game to overtime.

Berard was named first star of the game while goaltenders Evan DeBrouwer (Prince George) and Matteo Paler-Chow (Powell River) earned second and third-star selections respectively. DeBrouwer made 52 save while Paler-Chow turned aside 40 of the 42 shots he faced.

Prince George leads the series two games to one. Game four starts at 7 pm on Tuesday, April 3, at Hap Parker Arena.
