Elementary school students from seven schools were on the run recently in School District 47’s annual fall cross-country race.

One hundred and ninety-eight runners from grades three to seven followed “rabbits” Rachel Horspool and Sawyer Gowans through the trails at Sunset Park in Wildwood.

Top six winners in each category are listed below.

Grade three girls: first Melusine Yerna, École Côte du Soleil (ECdS); second Alison Ruegg, Assumption School (AS); third Brianna Narduzzi, Grief Point Elementary School (GPES); fourth Alana Kondra, AS; fifth Ilia Nakamey, GPES; sixth Sarah Banks, GPES.

Grade three boys: first Luke Shipley, GPES; second Marcus Cramb, GPES; third Evan Dendewicz, Edgehill Elementary School (EES); fourth Andrew Krowitz, GPES; fifth Austyn Leach, GPES; sixth Rafael Reghelian, ECdS.
