Powell River Kings defeated Nanaimo Clippers 5-4 in overtime to take a 3-1 series lead in the best-of-seven BC Hockey League Island Division semi-final on Tuesday, March 5.
Levi Glasman scored the winning goal 13:57 into the extra frame, his third of the game, to secure a win on the road for the second consectuive night. Josh Coblenz and Ben Berard also scored for the Kings, who trailed 3-0 after the first period.
Matteo Paler-Chow replace Mitch Adamyk in goal to start the second period and stopped 30 of the 31 shots he faced for his first win of the playoffs.
Attendance at Frank Crane Arena in Nanaimo was 1,166.
Kings can close out the series with a win in game five at home on Thursday, March 7. Game time at Hap Parker Arena is 7 pm.
