Powell River Pee Wee Rep Kings skated to a tie with Kelowna in Group B play at the BC Hockey Pee Wee Tier 3 Hockey Championship at Hap Parker Arena in Powell River on Monday, March 18.

Powell River sits second in Group B after two days of competition with a record of one win, one loss and one tie. For Kelowna, the 2-2 final was their third tie in as many games at the tournament, leaving them third in the group behind Powell River and Whitehorse, who defeated Burnaby 10-6 on Monday for their second win in two games.

Burnaby and Terrace are tied for fourth in Group B with one loss and one tie each.

In Group A on Monday, Quesnel beat Castlegar 4-3 and North Island lost twice, 12-10 to Dawson Creek and 7-4 to Whistler, who lead the group with a 3-0 record. Dawson Creek and Quesnel are tied for second place in Group A.

Action resumes at 7 am on Tuesday, March 19, with six games on the schedule at Powell River Recreation Complex, including Powell River’s final round-robin game against Burnaby at 2:30 pm.
