Daniel Wang has been playing for Powell River Villa since the 2019/2020 season.

Daniel Wang was born in 1989. He played youth soccer in Ontario with the Parry Sound Soccer Club rep team, coached by Eric Frohmann.

Daniel was the U17 team most valuable player in 2006, with 15 goals in 11 league games. He also helped the Parry Sound High School Panthers win two Muskoka-Parry Sound District Championships, including scoring the game winner in the championship game in 2006.

Daniel played junior varsity and club soccer with Houghton College from 2007 to 2011, and was the student manager of the varsity team from 2009 to 2011. He has played overseas in various expat leagues from 2012 through 2018.

Daniel’s first season with Powell River Villa was the 2019/2020 season. He plays in the forward/wing position.

Villa hosts Juan de Fuca All Flows at Timberlane Park on Saturday, February 19. Kickoff is at 1:30 pm and tickets will be available at the gate.
