Twenty-four hours after skating to a 3-3 tie at Powell River Recreation Complex, Powell River Minor Hockey U18 Kings and Sunshine Coast Blues met again on Sunday, September 11, this time at Gibsons Arena.
Liam Carroll scored for the second time in as many games for Powell River. His first period goal was all his team needed to secure a 1-0 win.
Goaltender Leo Brosseau turned aside every shot he faced to earn the shutout.
