BC Ferries has cancelled the 6:15 am Salish Eagle sailing from Comox (Little River) to Powell River (Westview) on Friday, November 27, due to adverse weather conditions.
As a result, the return trip scheduled to leave Powell River at 8:05 am has also been cancelled.
Due to the high winds, BC Ferries announced that the next round trip, scheduled to leave Comox at 9:55 am and depart from Powell River at 11:50 am, has also been cancelled.
At 3:28 pm, BC Ferries announced the 3:25 pm sailing from Little River and 5:15 return from Westview have also been cancelled.
The following sailings between Texada (Blubber Bay) and Powell River (Westview) have also been cancelled:
7:50 am departing Texada (Blubber Bay)
8:35 am departing Powell River (Westview)
9:20 am departing Texada (Blubber Bay)
10:20 am departing Powell River (Westview)
11:25 am departing Texada (Blubber Bay)
12:15 pm departing Powell River (Westview)
Island Discovery returned to service with the 3:05 pm scheduled departure from Blubber Bay to Westview.
