Peak contributor Murray Dobbin has a rather myopic attitude toward how local politics function.

Powell River Recreation Complex should be funded as a regional facility like Powell River General Hospital and our schools. Everyone pays hospital taxes whether they never, rarely or frequently use the facility.

It is time to ask questions about who pays for Powell River Recreation Complex. People living in electoral areas have not paid taxes toward the facility.
