What do you think about this week's editorial cartoon?

Recent downpours of rain in the Powell River area sandwiched between hot and dry spells have given the popular, albeit invasive, blackberry a perfect environment to flourish.

I asked city staff and council a few years ago if they would define/quantify their objective/strategy: “Living within our means” [“ Finance committee discussion focuses on municipal tax increases ,” July 30]. I’m dating myself.

A recent proposal by City of Powell River mayor Dave Formosa to form a community advisory finance committee received support from some councillors at a meeting on Thursday, July 25.

What do you think about this week's editorial cartoon? Would you try the paleo diet?

Many residents of Powell River want to get our transportation service resumed the way it was 10 years ago when our population was much lower [“ Coast Connector makes proposal to save Powell River bus route ,” July 8].

I travel around the Pacific Rim often and in the last two years have seen dramatic changes to the landscape in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Indonesia.

Over the course of four months, 360 Powell River residents participated in a Meatless Monday campaign endorsed by the city.

As long-standing residents of Powell River, we havenot really been involved with accessibility issues in the city. Since our 47-year-old son had a severe stroke in September 2018, we have had to use a wheelchair full time for his transport.
