What do you think of this week's editorial cartoon. Have you seen the related story ?

I am so disappointed with the news that was in the Peak regarding Sino Bright and the racist comments that have been on social media and on the street [“Powell River land purchase by Sino Bright in jeopardy,” March 7].

It seems that John Wilkinson is engaging in the type of verbal ping pong that continues unabated over the facts about climate change, and is largely the reason little actually gets done [“Letter: Focus on transport sector ,” March 7].

When I was a kid growing up in Saskatchewan, I noticed a small town about 25 kilometers from the city where I lived had a big sale of building lots.

There was another sharp yank last week in the eternal tug-of-war over the Agricultural Land Reserve. This one — toward preserving the ALR — is just as ingenious as the last big one by the previous government, which went the other way.

It looks like the inmates have reclaimed control of the asylum. That’s one takeaway from the collective decision by B.C.’s MLAs to hire an esteemed former chief justice to examine allegations against the legislature’s clerk and Sgt.-at-Arms.
