Powell River Kings to face Cowichan in BCHL playoffs

League announces schedule for first round of postseason

BC Hockey League has announced the schedule for the first round of playoffs.

Powell River Kings finished third in Island Division standings and will face second place Cowichan Valley Capitals in a best-of-seven series.

Games one and two take place at Cowichan Community Centre in Duncan on Friday, February 28, and Saturday, February 29.

The series shifts to Hap Parker Arena in Powell River for games three and four on Tuesday, March 3, and Wednesday, March 4.

If necessary, games five and seven will be played in Duncan on Friday, March 6, and Monday, March 9, while game six is scheduled to take place in Powell River on Saturday, March 7.

All games start at 7 pm.

Cowichan finished the regular season 13 points ahead of Powell River.
