Powell River Villa postpones home game due to weather

Snow extends winter break for Vancouver Island Soccer League club

Due to weather and current field conditions at Timberlane Park, Powell River Villa has postponed its next home game. The Vancouver Island Soccer League match against Mid Isle Mariners, scheduled for Saturday, January 18, will be played at a later date.

Villa is currently tied for eighth place in Division 1 standings with four games remaining on the schedule, including three at home.

Villa plays its last road game of the season versus Nanaimo FC at Merle Logan Turf on Saturday, January 25. The club is scheduled to host Cowichan FC on Saturday, February 1.
