In 1910, Inventor Thomas Edison demonstrated a new version of his Kinetophone. The device showed moving pictures with synchronized sound and was the forerunner of the motion-picture film projector.
In 2017, UFC fighter Conor McGregor was defeated by boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. in the 10th round of a boxing match. Mayweather earned an estimated $200 million in what was the last fight of his career. McGregor took home $130 million.
