Powell River’s Knights of Columbus recently donated $2,707 to Assumption School’s Bridget Bigold Memorial Tuition Bursary. On hand for the presentation were Knights of Columbus financial secretary Gerry Anderson, grand knight David Formosa and Assumption School principal Lisa Berg.
The bursary provides financial assistance to students wanting to attend Assumption who may be unable to do so because of financial constraints. Those wishing to donate to the bursary can do so at the school, at Assumption Church, or online at assumptionpr.ca.
