Powell River Rotarians donate funds for automated external defibrillator

Device is used to help people who experience sudden cardiac arrest

Rotary Club of Powell River (evening) recently presented Powell River Search and Rescue Society with a $1,500 donation for a portable AED (automated external defibrillator), which includes child and adult electrodes, rechargeable batteries, a waterproof carrying case and an 8-year warranty.

The device is used to help people who experience sudden cardiac arrest.
