POPPY PRESENTATION: Royal Canadian Legion Branch 232 (Texada) presented the first poppy of the 2019 Poppy Campaign to local government leaders on Saturday, October 19.
The poppies were presented to qathet Regional District Area D director Sandy McCormick [centre] and Van Anda Improvement District chairman Bob Timms [third from right] by branch president John Redekop [third from left].
Also on hand for the presentation from the branch were [from left] vice-president Alan MacIsaac, past-president Fred McElroy, and [from right] sergeant-at-arms David Colussi and poppy campaign chairperson Brandi Miller.
